100pcs 4mm x 0.5mm 5/32" x 1/64" N52 Thin Discs Rare Earth Neodymium Magnets 4x0.5mm

4mm x 0.5mm (5/32" x 1/64") Neodymium Disc Magnet – N52 Grade

Key Features:

  • Dimensions: 4mm diameter × 0.5mm thickness (Approx. 5/32" × 1/64")
  • Pull Force: Approx. 0.22 LB
  • Magnet Grade: N52
  • Coating: Nickel-Copper-Nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni) triple-layer plating for corrosion resistance
  • Magnetization: Axially magnetized (Poles on the flat 4mm circular faces)
  • Shape: Ultra-Thin Disc

Material Description:

Our 4x0.5mm N52 discs are the ultimate solution for "zero-bulge" magnetic connections. These magnets are thin enough to be glued behind cardstock, hidden under thin wood veneers, or recessed into shallow 4mm holes. Despite their razor-thin profile, the N52 grade provides a surprisingly secure hold for lightweight materials.

Handling Note: Because these magnets are exceptionally thin, they are extremely fragile. Never allow them to snap together from a distance. Always use a sliding motion to separate them to avoid cracking or shattering the brittle core.

Warnings and Safety Information:

  • Choking Hazard: Small size is dangerous for children and pets. Store in a secure, labeled container.
  • Fragile: Handle with extreme care. These magnets can break easily if dropped or mishandled.
  • Medical Safety: Keep away from pacemakers and other sensitive medical implants.
  • Electronics: Safe for most modern devices at a distance, but keep away from magnetic storage media.

Applications:

  • Premium wedding invitations and high-end stationery
  • Magnetic closures for luxury cosmetic and jewelry packaging
  • Micro-detailing for 1/35 and 1/48 scale models
  • Precision sensors in ultra-slim electronic prototypes
  • Hidden magnetic "latches" for balsa wood RC planes
