Epoxy Coated Neodymium Magnets — Waterproof & Corrosion-Resistant Rare Earth Magnets
Standard nickel-plated neodymium magnets are susceptible to corrosion in humid, wet, or chemically aggressive environments. JC Magnetics' epoxy coated magnets address this with a durable polymer encapsulation that seals all surfaces against moisture ingress, making them suitable for outdoor signage, marine hardware, aquarium and water feature applications, wet industrial environments, and any use case involving long-term humidity or splash exposure. The epoxy coating does not meaningfully reduce pull force for most applications and adds minor dimensional thickness. Available in N52 grade disc geometry across several diameter/thickness combinations.
