100pcs 4mm x 1mm 5/32" x 1/32" N52 Thin Discs Rare Earth Neodymium Magnets 4x1mm

4mm x 1mm (5/32" x 1/32") Neodymium Disc Magnet – N52 Grade

Key Features:

  • Dimensions: 4mm diameter × 1mm thickness (Approx. 5/32" × 1/32")
  • Pull Force: Approx. 0.45 LB
  • Magnet Grade: N52
  • Coating: Nickel-Copper-Nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni) triple-layer plating for durability
  • Magnetization: Axially magnetized (Poles on the flat 4mm faces)
  • Shape: Thin Disc

Material Description:

Our 4x1mm N52 discs are designed for applications requiring a "flush" finish. At just 1mm thick, these magnets are thin enough to be hidden behind cardstock or recessed into a shallow 4mm drill hole. The N52 grade ensures that despite its thinness, it provides a snappy and reliable magnetic connection.

Handling Note: Ultra-thin magnets are extremely fragile. They should never be allowed to snap together from a distance. Always slide them apart to avoid cracking the brittle neodymium core.

Warnings and Safety Information:

  • Choking Hazard: Small size is dangerous for children and pets. Keep strictly in a secure container.
  • Handling: Use a sliding motion to separate; avoid using metal tools that could strike and shatter the magnet.
  • Medical: Keep away from pacemakers and sensitive medical implants.
  • Storage: Keep away from credit cards and magnetic strips.

Applications:

  • Magnetic closures for premium packaging and folders
  • Tabletop miniature basing (for 28mm-32mm scale figures)
  • Small jewelry clasps and craft projects
  • Hidden magnetic latches for balsa wood or plastic models
  • Sensor triggers in space-constrained electronics
