2mm x 1mm (5/64" x 1/32") Neodymium Disc Magnet – N52 Grade
Key Features:
- Dimensions: 2mm diameter × 1mm thickness (Approx. 5/64" × 1/32")
- Pull Force: approx. 0.25 LB
- Magnet Grade: N52
- Coating: Nickel-Copper-Nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni) triple-layer plating
- Magnetization: Axially magnetized (Poles on the 2mm flat faces)
- Shape: Thin Disc
Material Description:
Our 2x1mm N52 discs are designed for "stealth" magnetic applications. Being only 1mm thick, they can be easily recessed into wood, plastic, or even hidden behind thick cardstock. Despite being ultra-thin, the N52 grade ensures a snappy, secure hold for lightweight components.
Handling Note: Thin discs are the most fragile shape. Do not let them snap together from a distance, as the impact will likely crack the magnet. Slide them apart to separate.
Warnings and Safety Information:
- Choking Hazard: Small size is dangerous for children and pets. Keep in a secure container.
- Handling: Use a sliding motion to separate; avoid using metal tools that could strike and shatter the magnet.
- Medical: Keep away from pacemakers and sensitive medical implants.
- Storage: Keep away from credit cards and magnetic strips.
Applications:
- Warhammer and hobby miniature basing
- Handmade greeting cards and invitations
- Small magnetic jewelry clasps
- Micro-electronics and sensor triggers
- Small-scale cabinet or box lid stays
