  • Pull Force: Approx. 13.33 lbs
  • Magnet Grade: N52
  • Coating: Nickel-Copper-Nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni) triple-layer plating
  • Material Composition: Neodymium (Nd), Iron (Fe), and Boron (B) – Nd₂Fe₁₄B formula
  • Shape: Disc

Material Description:

Neodymium magnets are made from a powerful rare earth metal (element 60 on the periodic table). When combined with Iron and Boron, the result is the strongest commercially available permanent magnet. These magnets are also referred to as Neo, Neod, or NIB magnets.

Although extremely strong, Neodymium magnets are brittle and fragile—more like ceramic than steel. At 1/4" thickness, these possess a high snap force; handle with care to prevent cracks, breaks, or pinching.

Warnings and Safety Information:

  • Keep away from children. Small magnets can pose a choking hazard and cause serious internal injuries if swallowed.
  • Pinch Hazard. Due to the high pull force, these magnets can snap together quickly, risking skin pinches or bruising.
  • Avoid contact with pacemakers. Strong magnetic fields can interfere with medical devices and electronics.
  • Not a toy. For industrial, professional, and advanced DIY use only.

Applications:

  • Heavy-duty industrial fastening and latches
  • Scientific experiments and lab equipment
  • Renewable energy (Small wind turbine generators)
  • DIY magnetic tool holders and shelving
  • High-performance sensor systems
