1/2" x 1/8" Neodymium Disc Magnet – N52 Grade | Pull Force ~7.40 lbs
Key Features:
- Dimensions: 1/2 inch diameter × 1/8 inch thickness (12.7mm × 3.18mm)
- Pull Force: Approx. 7.40 lbs
- Magnet Grade: N52
- Coating: Ni-Cu-Ni (Nickel-Copper-Nickel) Triple Layer Plated
- Material Composition: NdFeB (Neodymium-Iron-Boron)
- Shape: Disc
Material Description:
Neodymium magnets are part of the rare earth magnet family and are currently the strongest type of permanent magnet made. Despite their small size, these N52 grade discs offer incredible holding power relative to their volume.
Note on Durability: Neodymium magnets are brittle. They are designed for holding force, not impact. If allowed to "slap" together from a distance, they may chip or shatter.
Warnings and Safety Information:
- Choking Hazard: Keep away from small children.
- Electronics: Keep a safe distance from credit cards, hard drives, and monitors.
- Medical Safety: Not for use by individuals with pacemakers.
- Handling: Use caution when separating magnets; slide them apart rather than pulling.
Applications:
- Model making and miniatures
- Cabinet and door latches
- Classroom physics demonstrations
- Crafting and jewelry clasps
- Workshop organization (hanging small tools)
