1mm x 1mm (1/32" x 1/32") Neodymium Disc Magnet – N52 Grade | Micro-Scale Precision
Key Features:
- Dimensions: 1mm diameter × 1mm thickness (Approx. 1/32" × 1/32")
- Magnet Grade: N52
- Coating: Nickel-Copper-Nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni) triple-layer plating for corrosion resistance
- Material Composition: NdFeB (Neodymium-Iron-Boron)
- Shape: Micro Disc
Material Description:
These 1mm x 1mm N52 discs are among the smallest permanent magnets commercially available. Despite their microscopic size, the N52 grade provides a reliable magnetic field for precision switching and micro-assembly. They are axially magnetized (poles on the flat 1mm faces).
Important Note: Due to their incredibly small mass, these magnets are extremely easy to lose and very fragile. They should be handled with non-magnetic tools and stored in a secure container.
Warnings and Safety Information:
- Severe Choking Hazard: Keep strictly away from children and pets. These are small enough to be easily inhaled or swallowed.
- Handling: Use extreme care when separating. Their tiny size makes them susceptible to shattering if allowed to snap together from a distance.
- Storage: Keep away from sensitive electronic sensors that may be triggered by close-proximity magnetic fields.
- Not a toy. For professional, industrial, and specialized hobbyist use only.
Applications:
- Micro-miniature modeling (swapping 6mm scale weapon parts)
- Magnetic eyelashes and cosmetic applications
- Small-scale medical device prototyping
- Precision magnetic triggers and micro-switches
- Laboratory research and micro-fluidics
