Material Description:

Our 12x3mm diametric magnets are a critical component for high-precision engineering. Because the magnetic field runs across the diameter rather than through the thickness, these magnets are perfect for use with Hall-effect sensors to detect rotational position. The N52 grade ensures a strong signal and a secure hold even in compact assemblies.

Technical Note: Diametric magnets behave differently than standard discs. They will not stack flat face-to-face in a traditional way; instead, they prefer to align side-by-side or "roll" to find their opposite poles. This makes them ideal for custom motors and rotary encoders.
