5mm x 5mm 13/64in x 13/64in N52 Discs Cylinder Rare Earth Neodymium Magnet 5x5mm

5mm x 5mm (13/64" x 13/64") Neodymium Cylinder Magnet – N52 Grade

Key Features:

  • Dimensions: 5mm diameter × 5mm thickness (Approx. 13/64" × 13/64")
  • Magnet Grade: N52
  • Pull Force: Approx. 2.52 lbs
  • Coating: Nickel-Copper-Nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni) triple-layer plating for a durable, professional finish
  • Magnetization: Axially magnetized (Poles on the flat circular ends)
  • Shape: Cylinder / Deep Disc

Material Description:

Our 5x5mm N52 cylinders are built for high-performance applications that demand a small footprint with a massive "snap." Because the depth (5mm) matches the diameter, these magnets project a deep magnetic flux that can reach through thicker materials or trigger sensors from a greater distance than flatter discs. These are the strongest magnets in our 5mm diameter range.

Handling Note: The N52 grade at this thickness is very strong. Avoid letting these magnets jump together, as the force of impact can chip the brittle neodymium material. Always slide magnets apart and handle with care.

Warnings and Safety Information:

  • Choking Hazard: Small size is dangerous for children and pets. Keep strictly in a secure, labeled container.
  • Pinch Hazard: Strong enough to cause a painful skin pinch. Handle with steady hands.
  • Medical Safety: Keep away from pacemakers and sensitive medical implants.
  • Electronics: Avoid direct contact with magnetic storage media, credit cards, and mechanical watches.

Applications:

  • Heavy-duty miniature articulation (ideal for large resin models or heavy weapon mounts)
  • Industrial-grade proximity sensors and magnetic switches
  • DIY workshop organization (mounting heavy tools or metal jars)
  • Advanced 3D printing (perfect for deep, friction-fit 5mm holes)
  • Scientific research and physics laboratory demonstrations
